Printing transaction statement from Gnucash can span several pages. Found this to the most efficient:
In transaction report -> options -> display tab, put a check against the following check boxes:
Date, Num, Description, Other Account Name, Running balance.
In transaction report -> options -> sorting tab, put a check against the following check boxes:
Show Full Account Name, Primary Sub total
Select None for the Sorting of the Secondary Total Sub Key.
When you print, do not print to printer directly. This gives report with half the text of a line cut across pages. Always Export to HTML and then print the HTML file from a web browser.
