After installing the Thunar file manager in Ubuntu, the following error appears, when it is started and then you try to access files in the home directory:
Failed to open directory “matt”.
Error stating file ‘/home/matt/.gvfs’: Transport endpoint is not connected.
To overcome the error, you should restart your computer. Once restarted, the error does not appear.
