If you are used to the Fedora Linux Operating System, you would miss gwget. gwget is a simple and easy to use download manager. On Ubuntu, unfortunately, gwget is not available. But nothing to worry about.
Ubuntu also has a simple and easy to use download manager. It is called SteadyFlow and you can install it using the following command in a terminal window:
$ sudo apt-get install steadyflow <enter>
Trust me… you will not miss gwget.
