Remove Rhythmbox completely from Ubuntu

Start up a terminal window in Ubuntu. Enter the commands below.

$ sudo apt-get purge rhythmbox <enter>
$ sudo apt-get autoremove <enter>

This will remove rhythmbox completely. You will not see it in the Sound Settings menu in the system tray too.
