How to import mbox file into evolution

Those who want to import their email from other email clients and platforms like Microsoft Outlook or Thunderbird or even older Evolution clients into Evolution on Linux, need to export their emails into the mbox format. Evolution can then import those mbox files. Below are the steps to do this in evolution:

1. Click File -> Import
2. Click the Continue button
3. Click on import single file
4. Select the mbox file name and click Continue. Then select the destination folder of your Evolution client. You can also click on the Destination Folder text box, to get a Window, listing all the folders or you can click New to create a new folder. Click OK and then click Continue
5. Lastly, click Apply, and you will see the mails from your .mbox file in the folder.
