Download the last Linux version of Adobe Acrobat Reader from the archives of Adobe after opening a terminal window and enter:$ wget ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/unix/9.x/9.5.5/enu/AdbeRdr9.5.5-1_i386linux_enu.deb <enter>
To install open a terminal window and enter:$ sudo apt-get install ./AdbeRdr9.5.5-1_i386linux_enu.deb <enter>
A word of caution that it may be outdated and unpatched.
