Gnucash displays stock prices within the account as 47 + 22398/55939.
To display them with decimal points, from the main menu, select Edit -> Preferences -> Numbers, Date, Time and check the box that says “Force Prices to display as decimals“.
When you double click on the account to make entries, the stock price will be with decimal point. So, in our case 47 + 22398/55939 will be 47.400.
